"A perfectly balanced wine with complex and elegant aromas"

The Arcane L'Empereur pays homage to the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation with a concentrated and expressive 2022 vintage. With a lovely dark red color featuring black and garnet highlights, it opens with a very aromatic nose. Delicate notes of dried flowers, kirsch-soaked cherries, and stone fruits. Hints of marzipan, hazelnut shell, yellow cherries, and licorice. On the palate, the tannins are velvety, accompanied by lovely acidity, leading to a long, peppery finish.

The old vines underwent a long maceration (3 months) in a "cocotte," with some of the grapes left whole, balancing the wine's intensity and minerality.

Nose
