Stéphane Ogier

Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier is located in Ampuis, cradle of the Rhône Valley's finest wines. Stéphane took over from his father Michel in 1997, after studying oenology in Beaune.

Today, Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier 's vineyards cover 11 hectares of schist and granite terroir, including 3.5 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, on ideally-situated plots. Stéphane Ogier makes a point of cultivating his vineyards as carefully as possible, harvesting by hand, and paying particular attention to the mastery of his ageing techniques, a true signature of the assertive, authentic character of the wines he produces.
