Stéphane Ogier

The Michel and Stéphane Ogier Estate is located in Ampuis, the birthplace of the Rhône Valley’s finest wines. Stéphane took over from his father Michel in 1997, after studying oenology in Beaune.

The Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier vineyard now comprises 11 hectares of vines on a terroir of schist and granite, including 3.5 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, spread across ideally situated plots. Stéphane Ogier is committed to cultivating his vineyard as sustainably as possible, harvesting by hand, and pays particular attention to the aging process, which is the true hallmark of the assertive and authentic character of the wines produced.
