Stéphane Ogier

The Michel and Stéphane Ogier estate is located in Ampuis, the birthplace of the greatest wines of the Rhône Valley. Stéphane took over from his father Michel in 1997, after studying oenology in Beaune.

The Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier vineyard now covers 11 hectares of vines on schist and granite terroir, including 3.5 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, spread over ideally located plots. Stéphane Ogier is committed to cultivating his vineyard in the most sustainable way possible, harvesting by hand and paying particular attention to the aging process, which is the true signature of the assertive and authentic character of the wines produced.
