Domaine du Colombier

When the new generation took over the estate in the early 1990s, production—which had initially been intended for sale to wine merchants—was modernized to market the wines of Domaine du Colombier.

Located in the village of Mercurol, right in the heart of the Hermitage appellation, Domaine du Colombier comprises three distinct vineyard plots. The largest (13 hectares), planted with Syrah, is dedicated to the production of red Crozes-Hermitage wines. The second (1.4 hectares), planted with Marsanne, is used to produce the two white Crozes-Hermitage cuvées. The third (1.6 hectares) is located in the Beaumes and Diognières vineyards within the Hermitage appellation.
