“A cherry and strawberry jam!”

"Its magnificent deep fuchsia color immediately catches the eye. The aromas are clearly dominated by fruit, without veering into excessive sweetness; instead, they reveal lively notes of cranberry and cherry, enhanced by an alluring hint of spice. On the palate, it displays impressive texture and concentration for a rosé, with these lively red fruit notes unfolding generously across the palate. A slight hint of sweetness highlights the fruit while remaining perfectly balanced by the wine’s freshness. A fine example of Tavel rosés.” (Decanter 2026)

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

This estate, known for its consistently high-quality wines—particularly its Lirac in all three varieties and its Tavel—was founded in 1950 by Armand Maby. In 2005, his grandson Richard took over the vineyard, which spans 53 hectares, mostly situated on the rounded pebbles of the Vallongue plateau; the vines are cultivated using natural methods and have been in the process of converting to organic farming since 2019. Since 2011, the eminent Rhône oenologist Philippe Cambie has been advising the estate.
