Alain Brumont

The Domaine Alain Brumont is located two hours from Bordeaux, near the cities of Pau and Tarbes, facing the Pyrenees. Alain Brumont, owner of Château Montus and Château Bouscassé, manages 180 hectares of vineyards across the Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic Bilh, and Côtes de Gascogne appellations. At the helm of these estates, Alain Brumont has implemented numerous changes and has achieved what no one had done before him: selecting the best plots for each grape variety, replanting the finest grafts, doubling the number of vines per hectare to maximize their potential, reducing yields, and tailoring the fermentation process to each grape variety. Alain Brumont was also the first in the appellation to age his wine in new barrels.

The Alain Brumont brand is now considered an up-and-coming, original, and forward-looking label, thanks to its unique concept and style. With wines that improve every year,Alain Brumont’s goalis no longer simply to remain in the “club” of the 100 best winemakers, but to compete among the 20 or 30 best winemakers in the world, thanks to the quality of the terroirs he cultivates and the wines from the Southwest that he has successfully created.
