Markus Molitor - Riesling Auslese** Bernkasteler Badstube GC 2017 (demi-sec)
96/100
Robert Parker
"The Wine Advocate is impressed by its clarity, brightness, and character: a delicious Riesling that’s perfect for your holiday table!"
"The 2017 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Auslese ** (Green Capsule) is an astonishing wine with a bright, fairly pale lemon hue; it opens with a remarkably precise, refined, and beautifully reductive bouquet of perfectly ripe and healthy Riesling berries intertwined with very subtle notes of crushed slate. It is remarkable for its clarity, luminosity, and crisp Mosel character! On the palate, it is a very elegant, spicy, and well-structured Badstube Auslese that beautifully combines ripeness, concentration, and finesse. The wine is both rich and delicate, well-structured yet stimulatingly racy, crystalline, and beautifully refined, with a long, crisp finish.” (Wine Advocate 2019)

A clear, brilliant lemon-yellow color. A rich, complex aroma with notes of lemon and green apple. A refined, elegant palate with notes of green apple. Delicious
