“A cuvée that earned a ‘ Favorite ’ award for the 2020 vintage, for which Franck Chavy spoke of his quest for purity and clarity of fruit. He demonstrates that his efforts are not in vain: this Morgon displays elegant notes of black fruit, accented with pepper and licorice, echoed by a long, balanced finish.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2025)

About the wine:
This cuvée received a " Favorite " rating for the 2020 vintage, and Franck Chavy spoke about his quest for purity and clarity of fruit in this wine. He proves that his efforts are not in vain: this Morgon displays elegant notes of black fruit, accented with pepper and licorice, which are echoed by a long, balanced finish.
About the estate:
The son and grandson of winemakers, Franck Chavy settled in 1991 on a few hectares of Morgon. Through acquisitions and sharecropping arrangements, he has expanded his estate, which now spans 9.5 hectares, while establishing himself in the Guide, where he is considered a sure bet. This track record is undoubtedly due in part to his high-density vineyard plantings (10,000 vines per hectare) and extended maceration periods.
