Château des Jacques
Château des Jacques has been part of the renowned Burgundian wine house Louis Jadot since 1996. Château des Jacques’s 35 hectares of vineyards are located in the heart of the Beaujolais region, within the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. Five remarkable terroirs make up this estate: Grand Clos de Rochegrès, Clos du Grand Carquelin, Clos de Champ de Cour, Clos de la Roche, and Clos des Thorins. All of Louis Jadot’s expertise and high standards are dedicated to producing the most prestigious cru in Beaujolais.

Since 2016, winemaking has been overseen by Cyril Chirouze. Respect for the vines, destemming of the Gamay grapes, extended vatting, and aging in new barrels are the estate’s core principles. This exquisite expression of Gamay and this beautiful interpretation of the terroirs do justice to the title we like to give the Moulin-à-Vent appellation: "The King of the Beaujolais Crus." The same passion and the same commitment to quality are applied to Château des Lumières, the true alter ego of Château des Jacques, in the Morgon appellation.
