The Moulin-à-Vent from Domaine des Perelles reveals the beautiful richness of this flagship Beaujolais appellation. A bottle that exudes notes of red fruit, as well as very delicate floral nuances. A full-bodied, structured, and indulgent red with the silkiest tannins on the palate. Pure pleasure!

About the estate:
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When he took over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, then plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.

Note and opinion by Mr. RAYMOND B. Published on March 20, 2015
Eye: deep garnet color, nose: aroma of red fruits reminiscent of wild berries from the undergrowth of southeastern France. Powerful on the palate, with a tendency to "pinot" due to the ripe fruit aromas reminiscent of Burgundy. In short, an elegant wine that should be kept to improve with age. 2013 A respectable vintage. I'm not going to use wine terminology, as I don't have a perfect grasp of its richness. Suffice it to say that in terms of the pleasure principle, which is ultimately the only thing that matters, I had a blast.
