"A delightful red wine—smooth and well-balanced!"

This wine is the estate’s latest addition. This small 28-are plot, situated on a granite-based, very stony terroir, overlooks the village of Saint-Véran to the north of the St. Amour appellation. With its intense ruby color, it is a smooth, sensual wine with plenty of character; it is delicate, with a beautiful balance between fruit and tannins.

About the estate:

Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Château de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (a windmill). Upon settling there in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, followed by plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vineyards across six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
