“The Tête d’Or offers a fresh, lemony aroma; a ripe, full-bodied Chablis with a lingering finish and very precise flavors, enhanced by excellent bitter notes on the finish.” (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 - RVF) A blend of the estate’s finest plots, Tête d’Or is the estate’s flagship cuvée.

Wine rated 89/100 (Very good wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Made from grapes grown on the estate, the 2018 Chablis Tête d'Or offers notes of crisp, golden orchard fruits, dried white flowers, peach, and light honey, followed by a medium-bodied to full-bodied palate that is silky and well-structured, with greater depth and concentration than the usual vintage.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the wine:
The Tête d’Or offers a fresh, lemony aroma; it is a ripe, full-bodied Chablis with a lingering finish and very precise flavors, enhanced by excellent bitter notes on the finish.
About the estate:
This family-owned estate, established in Chablis since 1815, changed hands in 2014, becoming part of the Faiveley estate. This expanded Faiveley’s portfolio—already comprising 20 hectares of Chablis’s finest terroirs—to include four grands crus: Les Clos, Les Preuses, Vaudésir, and Les Blanchots; four premiers crus: Montée de Tonnerre, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume, and Vaillons, as well as Chablis and Petit Chablis. Olivier Bailly was appointed estate manager in 2014 and quickly refined the winemaking process. Starting in 2016, the return to top quality became evident, and this estate is now one of the most reliable in Chablis.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
A subtle, flinty note gives way to creamy, chalky lemon on this wine’s appetizing nose. The unexpected juiciness and ripeness of a hot summer flood the palate. The round, full-bodied, chalky texture brings a sense of freshness. The finish offers more lovely chalky notes.
