"Aromas of pear, citrus oil, and dried white flowers introduce the 2018 Petit Chablis, a medium-bodied, elegantly fleshy wine with lively acidity and a salty finish. Bottled under Diam, it will drink well young." (Wine Advocate 2020)

Its simplicity makes it the perfect wine to enjoy as an aperitif or before a meal. Enjoy it with friends before sitting down to dinner. Fine charcuterie and cheese cakes are the ideal accompaniments to this wine.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

This family estate, established in Chablis since 1815, changed hands in 2014, passing into the fold of the Faiveley house, which thus expanded its holdings, already rich with 20 hectares of the finest Chablis terroirs, with four grands crus: Les Clos, Les Preuses, Vaudésir, and Les Blanchots; four premiers crus: Montée de Tonnerre, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume and Vaillons, as well as Chablis and Petits Chablis. Olivier Bailly was appointed manager in 2014 and quickly refined the management of the vineyards. Since 2016, the return to high quality has been evident, and this estate is now one of the most reliable in Chablis.
