Joseph Drouhin - Chablis Réserve de Vaudon 2023
90/100
Wine Spectator
"A real find at Wine Paris 2026, this Chablis offers a tasting experience worthy of a Premier Cru!"
The vineyards of Chablis Réserve de Vaudon are located in the heart of the Vauvillien Valley, between the Premiers Crus Montée de Tonnerre and Mont de Milieu. Thanks to its Kimmeridgian limestone soils and billions of tiny marine fossils, it develops aromas blending lemon, fern, fresh butter, and hints of the sea. Its velvety palate combines richness, freshness, and finesse, while developing a refreshing vibrancy that beautifully extends the finish: a true Favorite.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and has established itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
