Édouard Labruyère’s enthusiasm and determination to elevate this estate to the ranks of the grands crus are remarkable. His efforts are evident in the vineyard—which has been farmed organically since 1997—in the cellar, where foudres and demi-muids have been in use since 2012, and, most importantly, in the glass. With its exceptional range of grands crus across 22 hectares of vineyards—including 17 hectares in the Côte de Beaune and an exclusive selection of grands crus in the Côte de Nuits—this estate possesses all the attributes needed to join the elite ranks of Burgundy’s estates.

This Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru offers a lively floral bouquet featuring dried violet petals steeped in a infusion of small black berries, with just a hint of black tea. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with crisp tannins and a lovely liveliness, showing a slight softening on the finish.
