"Another fine interpretation of the Marsannay terroir, both expressive and fresh!"

Château du Marsannay has once again produced a Champs Perdrix with a nose bursting with intense scents of yellow fruit and sweet spices. Its roundness and velvety texture on the palate add to its delicate charm, with a beautifully harmonious woody and mineral finish. A fine expression of terroir!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2020 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the domain :

In 2012, Olivier Halley, a descendant of the family that owns Promodès, a Carrefour shareholder, bought this 40-hectare estate, including 28 hectares of Marsannay, at the same time as Château de Meursault, and entrusted its management to Stéphane Follin-Arbelet. The investments in cultivation, techniques and human resources that had to be made because the estate had fallen on hard times are beginning to pay off. Sylvain Pabion, who previously worked at Bertrand Minchin's Clos Delorme, has joined the château to run the business and manage the reception area. A large reception room here can accommodate up to 350 seated guests, a rarity in Burgundy winegrowing.
