"A Favorite discover year after year!"

" This year's only Favorite the appellation goes to a communal cuvée and the excellent Rodolphe Demougeot. The latter has produced a colorful and expressive Pommard, adorned with a deep, almost black color, a sign of beautiful concentration. The intense and refined nose combines woody and spicy notes of sandalwood, vetiver, and nutmeg. The palate is full-bodied, dense and smooth, supported by ripe, perfectly integrated tannins, and stretches out into a long, smooth finish. A wine of character, harmonious and racy, combining controlled power and elegance." (Guide Hachette 2026)

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Although he has been based in the commune of Meursault since 1998, Rodolphe Demougeot has been developing an estate since 1992, the core of which covers 7.8 hectares and consists mainly of a fine selection of Pommard and Savigny-lès-Beaune crus. The red wines, made from carefully selected grapes, destemmed or not, vinified in concrete vats, have an energy that ensures they are drinkable from a young age in a delicious style, very suitable for restaurants and those who like to drink their wines young. The whites, on the other hand, offer integrity and verticality.
