Joseph Drouhin - Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Folatières 2009
One of the most renowned "climats" in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation, Les Folatières offers the complex expression typical of Puligny wines: honey, honeysuckle, and fresh almond, evolving into notes of toasted dried fruit and spices. Balanced, fresh, and smooth, with an exceptional finish, this is undeniably a truly great wine. A truly beautiful bottle!

About the estate:
The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
