Champagne Pierre Gimonnet and Sons
The vineyards of the Pierre Gimonnet & Fils Champagne House are located on the Côte des Blancs. The history of the Gimonnet family in Champagne began in 1750. Initially, the Gimonnet family were winegrowers and delivered their harvests to Champagne merchants. It was during the interwar period that the house really began its winemaking activity. Around 1935, Pierre published his first price list. Fresh grape juice appeared alongside "still wine from Champagne" and "vintage champagnes" at virtually the same price.

From 1955 onwards, Michel Gimonnet, Pierre's son, invested himself passionately and boldly in developing a range of "Maison" Champagnes. He knew how unique the family vineyard was, and the style of his wines would express all its beauty, liveliness, and pedigree. Today, the vineyard covers some 28 hectares classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. In early 2008, Pierre Gimonnet & Fils acquired almost 2 hectares in four parcels on the Vertus Premier Cru terroir.

All grapes are harvested by hand. Pressing is carried out in the traditional way, by fractionation, in two pneumatic presses that have been automatically controlled since 1996. Aware of the diversity and great richness of their vineyard, Olivier and Didier Gimonnet, the current managers of Champagnes Pierre Gimonnet & Fils, do everything possible to extract the finest expressions.
