"High-quality winemaking and long aging have produced this memorable nectar: enhance your meal, or enjoy it on its own."

"With its extraordinary balance of sweet and tart flavors and aromas, this Tokaji Aszu is luminous and will remain so for years to come. Golden honey, fresh and cooked pears and figs, and a hint of fruity pomegranate molasses create a world of nuances before an epic, long, and dazzling finish." (Wine Enthusiast 2025)

Wine making

Selective harvesting, maceration of the berries for 2 days to allow them to swell, gentle pressing to obtain a high-density must, fermentation in new Hungarian oak barrels (100%) for 1 month.

Method of preparation

A meticulous process that is only possible in exceptional vintages and conditions that favor Botrytis on the berries (the same process has been used for hundreds of years). Aszù refers to dried berries and "puttonyos" means "basket." The number before it, in this case "6," indicates the number of 25kg baskets of botrytized grapes added to a 136L "Gönc" barrel of must (unfermented grape juice) - So the higher the number, the higher the sugar content in your Tokaji!

Livestock farming

Aged for 2 to 3 years in 136- and 200-liter barrels, then refined in bottles for an additional 5 years.

Eye

Nose

Delicious, indulgent aromas of yellow fruits, peach and pear, pineapple and grapefruit, star fruit, elderflower, and acacia honey: such complexity!

Mouth

Soft and flavorful attack, beautiful volume on the palate, deliciously complex aromas, some nougat flavors stand out in addition to the aromas detected on the nose, serene acidity, very long finish with subtle spice and botrytis notes.
