"One of the best Italian white wines in terms of value for money, according to James Suckling!"

A tangy orchestra where Meyer lemons and lime zest play first violin, accompanied by a chorus of crushed shells. The performance hits all the high notes as citrus energy dances on a chalky mineral stage, reaching a crescendo that makes you want to applaud. This may not be the family's calling card, but make no mistake: leave a few bottles in your cellar and you'll be rewarded with one of the world's best reasonably priced aged wines. Drink now through 2045." (Wine Enthusiast 2026)

Wine rating (2025 guide) 92/100 (Outstanding wine)

About wine:

In a screw-cap bottle, Pieropan 2024 Soave Classico Organic is a highly regarded wine from northern Italy, and for very good reason. This simple expression of the Garganega grape variety (blended with 15% Trebbiano di Soave for added richness) offers beautiful freshness, mineral notes, and sweet primary aromas reminiscent of freshly cut apple and white peach. This vintage was far from easy, but this white wine comes through with flying colors. The Pieropan family does a tremendous job with this entry-level cuvée, producing 560,000 bottles. The grapes come from 60 hectares of volcanic soil and the wine spends five to six months in cement tanks. The process is simple and straightforward, and the wine is delicious. 2025-2028
