Spirale is a sweet wine produced from grapes that have been dried for several months. Rich and indulgent, it opens with aromas of quince, dried apricot, and honey. It is a very dense and concentrated wine, with beautiful fruit that leaves a remarkable freshness on the palate. A rare wine to discover!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)
About the estate:
As sparkling as his crémants, as energetic as his whites, as welcoming as his reds, and as generous as his yellow wines, Stéphane Tissot is undoubtedly the driving force behind the Jura wine region. Taking over the family estate in 1993 with his wife Bénédicte, he has revealed the full richness of the Jura terroirs through great wines from selected plots. The variety of the range is matched only by the quality and purity of the wines, as well as the winemaker's tireless craftsmanship and experimentation. High-density stake planting, massal selection, amphora aging, prolonged maceration, and sulfur-free wines are just some of the strings to Stéphane Tissot's bow. Around 50 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards make up one of the most exciting estates in the region.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2020 guide) 3 stars (These represent the excellence of French vineyards. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical moment.)
About the estate:
What a journey Stéphane Tissot has been on since 1990! The vineyard began its conversion to organic farming in 1999 and is now cultivated biodynamically. Whatever the type of wine, everything is managed with talent and sensitivity, and the flavors are perfectly integrated. The Macvins are the finest in the region. The rusticity often brought by the marc is wonderfully blended here! The reds and oxidative wines have acquired an unforgettable finesse and freedom of tone. The rigor of the work accomplished and the kaleidoscopic depth of the range unquestionably place the estate at the top of regional production.

Note and opinion by Mr. DENIS B. Published on 09/15/2018
A white wine made from raisined grapes, like straw wine. Exceptionally rich in sugar, with complex aromas of currants, honey, and candied apricots. A small bottle in size but a big moment for dessert after a 2002 Vin Jaune de l'Etoile from Philippe Vandel, served with a Jura cheese platter.
