RVF

"A basket of fruit... DD is juicy, sapid, and delicious." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) This ruby red Arbois offers a complex, ripe and very fruity nose. The sulfur-free vinification process used to produce it is noticeable but remains very precise. On the palate, there is lots of fruit and spice, with a beautiful texture and tannins that are still a little firm but smooth... A very successful bottle!

Rated estate (2020 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)

About the estate:

As sparkling as his crémants, as energetic as his whites, as welcoming as his reds, and as generous as his yellow wines, Stéphane Tissot is undoubtedly the driving force behind the Jura wine region. Taking over the family estate in 1993 with his wife Bénédicte, he has revealed the full richness of the Jura terroirs through great wines from selected plots. The variety of the range is matched only by the quality and purity of the wines, as well as the winemaker's tireless craftsmanship and experimentation. High-density stake planting, massal selection, amphora aging, prolonged maceration, and sulfur-free wines are just some of the strings to Stéphane Tissot's bow. Around 50 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards make up one of the most exciting estates in the region.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 15,5/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2020 guide) 3 stars (These represent the excellence of French vineyards. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical moment.)

About wine:

A basket of fruit... DD is juicy, flavorful, and delicious.

About the estate:

What a journey Stéphane Tissot has been on since 1990! The vineyard began its conversion to organic farming in 1999 and is now cultivated biodynamically. Whatever the type of wine, everything is managed with talent and sensitivity, and the flavors are perfectly integrated. The Macvins are the finest in the region. The rusticity often brought by the marc is wonderfully blended here! The reds and oxidative wines have acquired an unforgettable finesse and freedom of tone. The rigor of the work accomplished and the kaleidoscopic depth of the range unquestionably place the estate at the top of regional production.

Sulfur-free wine...the wine continues to develop in the bottle: cider-like nose, very sparkling, even tangy. Very expensive. Nothing like Berthet-Bondet's "la queue au renard" blend, pure delight.
