Wine rated (2022 guide) 91/100

Rated estate (2024 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About wine:

Stunningly fresh with notes of green apple and lime. A soft and surprisingly chalky finish for this clay-limestone cuvée. Overall, it is invigorating and very refreshing, perfect as an aperitif.

About the estate:

Françoise Antech-Gazeau masterfully manages this successful wine merchant, which has specialized in sparkling wines for six generations. Nearly a million bottles leave the cellars each year. A wide range of very consistent wines of high quality, with a clear focus on purity, minerality, and freshness. The M30 cuvée, made from Mauzac grapes, impressed us with its wonderful aperitif qualities.

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine noted (guide 2022) 1*Star (Very successful wine)

Rated estate (2024 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About wine:

A sparkling color, a fine stream of bubbles, an energetic and delicious nose of pear and apple—the start is promising. Crisp, lively, full-bodied, long, and sufficiently lively on the finish, the palate does not disappoint.

About the estate:

Owner of vineyards, a family wine merchant business for six generations, now run by Françoise Antech, following in the footsteps of her father Georges and her uncle Roger. A sure bet, specializing in the production of Limoux sparkling wines.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100

About wine:

Fresh aromas of orange blossom, lemon leaf, and green pear lead the nose of this pale straw-colored cuvée. A light cuvée, but well balanced by ample acidity on the palate, with additional notes of pear skin and melon rind that linger through the finish. This is a well-balanced cuvée to enjoy now.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 16/20

About wine:

Aromas of ripe pears and cut grass. Fine, light bubbles. The acidity gives the wine great tension. Reine-Claude plum and lime with a very herbaceous cardoon—chervil and tarragon. Crisp and concentrated, already delicate. Superb balance, subtle yet neither thin nor harsh.
