Wine rated (2022 guide) 91/100

Rated estate (2024 guide) 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the wine:

A burst of freshness with notes of green apple and lime. This clay-limestone cuvée offers a soft, surprisingly chalky finish. The overall impression is lively and very refreshing, making it the perfect aperitif.

About the estate:

Françoise Antech-Gazeau masterfully leads this successful wine merchant, which has specialized in sparkling wines for six generations. Nearly a million bottles leave the cellars each year. A broad and consistent range of wines, of high quality, with a clear focus on purity, minerality, and a fresh, balanced profile. The M30 cuvée, made from Mauzac, impressed us with its outstanding ability to serve as an aperitif.

A sparkling color, a fine stream of bubbles, and a lively, rich nose of pear and apple—the first sip bodes well. Crisp, lively, full-bodied, long, and with a sufficiently lively finish, the palate does not disappoint.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100

About the wine:

Fresh aromas of orange blossom, lemon leaf, and green pear dominate the nose of this pale straw-colored wine. It is a light-bodied wine, yet well-balanced by a lively acidity on the palate, with additional notes of pear skin and melon rind that linger through the finish. This is a well-balanced wine that is ready to enjoy now.

Jancis Robinson

Jancis Robinson

Wine rated (2020 guide) 16/20

About the wine:

Aromas of ripe pears and cut grass. Fine, light bubbles. The acidity gives the wine great structure. Green plum and lime with a distinctly herbaceous profile—chervil and tarragon. Crisp and concentrated, already delicate. Superb balance, subtle yet neither thin nor harsh.
