Antech - Blanquette de Limoux Réserve Extra Brut 2021
1*Étoile
Hachette
"Rediscover this region's flagship wine, with its fine, fresh bubbles, showcasing the Mauzac grape!"
“Everything about it is good—there’s nothing to throw away”—that could be the motto of this Limoux producer! If the judges gave this Réserve a slight edge, it was because of the quality of its bubbles, its freshness, the vibrancy of its fruit, and its slight bitterness on the finish, which adds a refreshing touch and really wins you over.” (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2024 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Françoise Antech-Gazeau masterfully runs this successful wine merchant, which has specialized in sparkling wines for six generations. Nearly a million bottles leave the cellars each year. A broad and consistent range of wines, all of high quality, with a clear focus on purity, minerality, and a fresh, balanced profile. The M30 cuvée, made from Mauzac, impressed us with its wonderful ability to serve as an aperitif.
