"The 2012 Grande Cuvée is a wine whose fruity notes of white peach and citrus are already apparent, invigorating and fresh. " (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2015). This white wine expresses notes of toast and butter on the first nose. After swirling, aromas of exotic fruits (mango) and citrus fruits (yuzu, orange blossom) appear. A wine with a fresh, then fruity, round and long attack, an elegant, refined and fresh wine...

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2015 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2025 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About wine:
The grand cuvée is also improving in white. Its aging makes it heavier, but after a short period of storage, it will be flavorful.
About the estate:
After Bernard Durand, who oversaw the conversion of Pic Saint-Loup from mixed farming with a focus on sheep to its recognition as a quality wine-growing area, his nephew Régis Valentin took over the technical reins. Without fanfare, this is a domaine to seek out for its Vieilles Vignes cuvée, which is powerful yet flavorful, its Clos des Combes, and its Grande Cuvée. The Cuvée Madame is even more ambitious and the rosé is consistently delicious.

Note and opinion by Mr. JEAN PIERRE D. Published on 09/19/2017
This wine is currently at its peak maturity. Beautiful concentration, lovely length and persistence; slightly lacking in finesse but very good value for money. Excellent with spider crab and turmeric sole with crème fraîche.
