Rating: Gault Millau 15/20
A white wine with a generous, complex, and lingering palate, confirming once again Michel Louison’s unparalleled talent. He works with each of his grape varieties and his exceptional terroir like a conductor leading an orchestra, without a single false note. Marsanne and Roussanne play their parts, offering a truly well-balanced gastronomic white wine with beautiful minerality that pairs perfectly with fine fish and scallops!

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

This estate was the pride of Faugères in the 1990s, before being taken over by Julien Seydoux, who arrived here with the humility to learn about the terroir and the desire to bring Les Estanilles back to the forefront. The aging process is gradually adapting to the wines’ characteristics and still has room to improve. The reds are powerful and full of flavor; they are wines with a strong personality.
