About the wine:
Fresh, lively, and aromatic, this simple yet effective wine delights with its vibrant fruit and crisp palate!
About the estate:
A family-owned vineyard dating back to the 12th century, Château de Jonquières boasts a long lineage of 32 generations of winemakers—a rarity in this region! The estate’s wines, with their classic character, remain consistently smooth and harmonious—a classicism that the new generation, now at the helm of the estate, does not intend to challenge but rather to refine. Their dynamism and clear vision seem to be paving the way for renewal. The whites, expressive and easy to drink, blend Chenin and Grenache Blanc. The reds age well, particularly La Baronnie, which refines over two to eight years in the bottle. Lansade, less consistent and precise, nevertheless charms with its rich, indulgent character.

Lacks depth on the nose and is short on the palate. A wine that lacks character and structure. Disappointing.
