About wine:
Fresh, lively, and aromatic, we appreciate the vibrant fruit and fresh palate of this simple and effective wine!
About the estate:
A family-owned wine estate since the 12th century, Château de Jonquières boasts a long line of 32 generations of winemakers, which is quite rare for the region! The wines from this estate, with their classic style, are always easy to drink and harmonious—a classicism that the new generation, now running the business, has no intention of challenging but rather refining. Its dynamism and clear vision seem to be paving the way for renewal. The whites, expressive and easy to drink, combine Chenin and Grenache Blanc. The reds age well, particularly La Baronnie, which improves with between two and eight years in the bottle. Lansade, less consistent and precise, nevertheless seduces with its deliciousness.

Weak on the nose, short on the palate. A wine that lacks expression and structure. Disappointing.
