"A confidential vintage that will fully express itself after a few years of aging, with magnificent complexity."

With its eye-catching bright red color, the Costa Caoude cuvée offers a vibrant fruit nose, marked by jammy notes, black cherries, and cocoa. A wine of great elegance, its harmonious palate features mellow tannins and a caressing texture.

About wine:

The wine gains in depth in this 2023 vintage, with a full-bodied palate, notes of graphite, and a dynamic finish with powerful tannins.

About the estate:

Mas Haut-Buis is first and foremost an exceptional high-altitude site, nestled some 650 meters above sea level, between scrubland, olive trees, and almond trees. The 14 hectares are made up of no fewer than twelve separate plots. Olivier Jeantet, who has been here since 1999, is self-taught and quickly understood the ins and outs of the trade and the standards required to produce great wines of character that reflect the tension and integrity of the Terrasses du Larzac. A heritage of old vines, hard work in the vineyard, aging that favors large containers, and meticulously thought-out blends have enabled this estate to rise to become one of the appellation's sure values.
