This Cour-Cheverny is a superb, well-balanced dry wine that fully expresses the richness and distinctive character of the Romorantin grapes from which it is made. It offers a deep, complex nose of thyme and rhubarb, with a distinct mineral quality, followed by a crisp, fresh, and powerful attack on the palate, citrus notes, and a balanced finish with great length. A beautiful vintage!

About the estate:

Vincent Hayer, who served as the estate’s operations director for nearly 20 years, took over management of the property in 2020. The estate, formerly a vineyard belonging to Château de Troussay, has been certified organic since 2012 and biodynamic since 2015. Owned by the deeply committed Chevrier family, the estate spans 30 hectares divided between Cour-Cheverny and Cheverny, featuring notably very old Sauvignon vines.
