Wine rated (2024 guide) 91/100 (April issue, p. 99)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

Always well-crafted and crisp, this 2022 Pinot Noir reveals a more vibrant fruitiness than before. Its alluringly soft texture and subtle acidity lend it a lively finish. A wonderful introduction to Sancerre reds.

About the estate:

The Raimbault brothers, Julien and Clément, embody the new generation of Sancerre winemakers. Over the past few vintages, we’ve been delighted to see a more relaxed approach to the wines’ expression. They’re now more laid-back and indulgent, while retaining the precision that has become their trademark. 2022, a sunny vintage, is a masterful balancing act! 2023, unsurprisingly, has produced wines that are more refined and elegant.
