"Truly a great wine!"
"A wine that will rival the 2015 and 2016 vintages. The 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Anonyme boasts a deep purple color and a balanced, elegant, full-bodied, and seductive character that is already hard to resist. It is bursting with black fruit, peppery herbs, and notes of violet, featuring fine tannins, no harshness, and sensational balance. It will be approachable upon release, while evolving with grace.” (Jeb Dunnuck)

About the wine:
Tasted straight from the barrel, the 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Anonyme adds notes of toast, cedar, and vanilla to the burst of fruit that Vignon so skillfully captured in 2017. Notes of blueberries, black cherries, and stone fruits abound in this opulent, full-bodied red, which is silky and concentrated on the long finish. It is a superb demonstration.
