Partially destemmed and aged in a mix of demi-muids and tanks, it offers a beautifully pure and vibrant bouquet of black raspberries, white and black pepper, candied orange, and violets. At low temperatures (22-24°) to preserve the freshness of this rich and sunny vintage, very expressive, reflecting the climate that year, great care was taken to preserve the elegance and finesse of the tannins by limiting the extraction of seed tannins as much as possible.

Livestock farming

Aged for 18 months, one-third in concrete vats, one-third in truncated conical vats, and one-third in demi-muids (600-liter barrels). The barrels are not new. Maintain a reducing environment.

Notes of blackcurrant and plum brandy with hints of dark spices, chocolate, and freshly turned earth. Full-bodied and concentrated, with a broad, grainy tannic structure. Layered and textured, with a backbone of dark fruit and notes of nuts and crushed stone on the finish. Best enjoyed after 2024.

Built on a solid 2019 vintage, this cuvée offers a wine of great aromatic richness, with hints of black cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry, as well as notes of licorice and subtle oak that intertwine with ripe, velvety tannins and a dense, deliciously smooth texture enhanced by a touch of mint. It offers great depth right through to its fragrant and spicy finish. Opulent and flamboyant, this Grand Vin red is perfectly ripe and was thoroughly enjoyed with a Moroccan couscous with ras el hanout shared with the family. Rating = 4.4.
