Mouton Père et Fils Estate
Domaine Mouton Père et Fils has been a family-run winery for three generations, driven by a love for the terroir. In 1989, Jean-Claude Mouton joined his father at the family winery in Condrieu. Father and son work with a landscape that is both remarkable and challenging: steep, rugged slopes from which the Syrah and Viognier draw their strength.

Domaine Mouton Père et Fils produces wines under the Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and IGP Collines Rhodaniennes appellations. In Condrieu, the estate owns plots in the Côte Bonnette and Côte Chatillon locales, located in the village of Condrieu. The Côte-Rôtie plots, meanwhile, are situated on the “côte blonde” (golden slopes) of Bassenon and Tupin-Semons.

Domaine Mouton Père et Fils cultivates these two great terroirs on terraces known as “chaillés,” making mechanization impossible due to the steepness of the slopes.
