"A Rhône 'must-have' for your wine cellar!"

“Made primarily from grapes grown in the Plan de Dieu region in the south and crafted from Grenache and Syrah, the 2024 Côtes du Rhône Les Temps Est Venu features a ruby color and a magnificent nose of juicy red and black fruits, intertwined with peppery notes of garrigue and flowers. It is medium-bodied, smooth, supple, and delicious on the palate, with remarkable overall balance and a clean finish. Enjoy this undeniably delicious wine from the southern Rhône over the next 4 to 6 years.” (Jeb Dunnuck 2026)

Rated Estate (2024 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Since 2014, Stéphane Ogier has been making wine in an ultra-contemporary winery in Ampuis, where he gives free rein to his creative talent. Of the 18 hectares cultivated by this estate, 3.5 hectares are located on exquisite plots in Côte-Rôtie. Stéphane joined his father Michel in 1997 after studying oenology in Beaune, where he developed a taste for elegance and finesse. The wines are made from partially destemmed grapes (50% whole-cluster fermentation in the Lancement cuvée). The precision of recent vintages, the rigorous selection of single-vineyard cuvées, and the style the wines now exhibit place the estate among the elite, with a third star now within reach.
