Nice freshness and intense fruit; the tannins aren't overly dry or heavy—though they are robust. Harmonious, with some underlying complexity, it should develop more depth over time. Long finish. The oak works well (25% new oak); it doesn't overwhelm the fruit.

Laced with aromas of garrigue and green peppercorns, it offers mixed berries on the medium- to full-bodied palate, and tannins that are slightly more assertive than those of Vignon’s other wines. That said, it is by no means unapproachable, and while it can be cellared for about another year, it should be enjoyed over the next 5 to 7 years.

Tasted on 8/24. Bright, crystal-clear color. The nose offers complex, full-bodied fruit aromas. The palate is silky, nicely echoing the nose, and has good length.
