"Aromas of blackberries, black plums, bark, and dried spices. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Textured on the palate with a hint of blackberry. Slightly chewy, but the overall balance remains. Dried herbs on the compact, spicy finish. 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre. Made from organically grown grapes. Best after 2023.” (James Suckling 2023)

Wine rated (2022 guide) 90/100

Rated property Recommended

About the wine:

Floral, lovely, and crisp, with lovely fruit purity. The palate is supple, with well-balanced acidity, fruit, and tannins. Well done for such a challenging vintage. It’s far better than most others and will age longer than most 2021s. Fermented in concrete tanks, aged for 12 months in barrels, with no new oak.

About the wine:

Tasted blind. A juicy, ripe nose of cherries and plums. A hint of dried fig on the palate, along with blackberry, licorice, and a good concentration of dark fruits. A ripe, rich, and robust style.
