Domaine de Fondrèche - Persia blanc 2020

Jancis Robinson

Persia is a white wine produced from the estate's oldest vines on a plot of Roussanne. It has a very mineral nose, with aromas of white stone fruits, exotic fruits, and white flowers with a hint of mint. A full-bodied wine with a fresh, salty attack, it is both rich and well-balanced with integrated acidity. Pair it with asparagus wrapped in smoked bacon or sweetbreads to delight the taste buds of discerning gourmets!

About the estate:
Nanou Barthélemy and her son Sébastien Vincenti acquired this property in 1995, built and regularly improved the cellar, and replanted the vineyard—50 hectares of organic land, cultivated using biodynamic methods, making Fondrèche one of the benchmarks of the Ventoux appellation.
