Nanou Barthélemy and her son Sébastien Vincenti purchased this property in 1995, built the winery and regularly upgraded it, and replanted the vineyard—50 hectares of organic vineyards, cultivated using biodynamic principles—thus making Fondrèche one of the leading producers in the Ventoux appellation.

From now on, there will be two red wines: the Domaine and the Altineo, with approximately 4,000 cases of the Domaine and 1,000 cases of the Altineo. The Altineo is a small selection from the estate’s finest terroirs and old vines. With a vivid ruby-purple color and remarkable purity in its aromas of red and black fruits, pepper, and crushed stone, the Ventoux Domaine 2024 is composed of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre. A medium-bodied red, concentrated and elegant, with fine, polished tannins, crisp and perfectly integrated acidity, and exceptional length, this is a brilliant 2024 that will clearly stand out.

Carefully crafted, this rich and indulgent Ventoux offers aromas of ripe black fruits accented by notes of warm spices. On the palate, it is textured and full-bodied, supported by firm, silky tannins and extended by a crisp acidity. A great classic that still retains its youthful character, perfect with black pudding with apples and homemade mashed potatoes. Rating = 4.
