Robert Parker

“The 2012 Côtes du Ventoux possesses exceptional purity and plenty of character, with notes of forest floor, sap, spices, garrigue, and floral nuances balanced by a core of black cherry and blackberry. It is medium-bodied, beautifully textured, and hard to resist. It’s well worth exploring; best enjoyed within 4–5 years, and through 2018.” (Wine Advocate 2013 – Robert Parker)

A well-made, aromatic wine with good texture, though it lacks a bit of finesse. Great value for the price!!!!

It's unpretentious, but it's true that you get what you pay for. I opened a bottle, and this wine seems rather flat and still young to me. I don't know if I'll have the chance to let it age for two or three years to see how it develops.

As it stands, there's really nothing special about it, despite the enticing descriptions on the website. So it's a big disappointment, even at this price. What am I going to do with my 18 quills? Wait and see if it gets any better. Parker ratings: done
