Calmel & Joseph - Côtes du Roussillon Caramany La Folie Douce rouge 2021
Prix Plaisir
Bettane & Desseauve
“You’d be crazy to miss out on this vintage!”
The high-altitude terroir of Caramany comes fully to the fore in this blend of Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah, lending it a crisp, clean profile. Aging in one-year-old barrels imparts subtle woody notes, well-integrated tannins, structure, and a lovely complexity. It pairs well with meatballs and chili con carne.

About the estate:
The perfect choice for those who want to discover fine Languedoc wines that stay true to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without their own cellars. They age the selected vintages at the winemakers’ estates from whom they purchase them, respecting the original flavors and terroirs.
