Domaine Gauby

Domaine Gauby, located northwest of Perpignan, covers some 85 hectares, including 45 hectares of vines up to 120 years old, and 40 hectares of meadows, oak forests and garrigues of incredible and unique aromatic complexity. A wild, arid, steep and undulating environment, still very much preserved, based on terroirs composed of limestone, marl and schist.

At Gauby, our work consists of respecting the environment, taking nature as our ally, leaving aside chemical and synthetic products and using "home-made" preparations based on plants (over twenty) and other natural products such as essential oils, compost... At Domaine Gauby, the grapes are harvested by hand, and careful, traditional vinification is used to bring out the quintessence of the terroirs and to seek elegance and freshness in the wines, the aim being to preserve the natural balance.

Domaine Gauby produces racy, well-structured, elegant Côtes du Roussillon Villages reds, with strong ageing potential in the great vintages, as well as Vins de Pays des Côtes Catalanes, which express superb aromatic freshness in the whites. Gauby wines are a must for lovers of Roussillon "Grands Crus".
