"Excellent value for money

The nose reveals straightforward notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry, accompanied by fine spicy notes. On the palate, a generous, aromatic wine with velvety tannins. A fine entry into the world of wine!

About the domain :

Founded around 1850, this family-run estate has seen six successive generations. Following in the footsteps of his father Louis, Didier Barré, who settled here in 1983, contributed to the revival of Madiran, of which he was one of the standard-bearers. In 2017, sisters Claire and Marion Bortolussi (daughters of Alain Bortolussi of Ch. Viella) took over the destiny of this flagship 25-hectare estate, forging a partnership with négociant Lionel Osmin to run the business and market the cuvées. Organic conversion has been underway since 2020.
