"Swiss Grape Varieties"

“The bouquet is bright, pure, supple, and fresh, with notes of crushed and weathered stone. On the palate, it is a fresh, pure, and intense red with a silky texture, finely grained tannins, and a straightforward character, culminating in a salty and spicy finish. Subtle yet highly refined.” (Wine Advocate 2020 – Stephan Reinhardt)

About the wine:

From the left bank of the Rhône (with limestone soils and fewer hours of sunshine), the Dôle la Liaudisaz 2018 is a blend of approximately 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Gamay, and a tiny bit of Gamaret and Diolinoir. Fermented separately, the blend was aged in enameled tanks for one year. The bouquet is bright, pure, supple, and fresh, with notes of crushed and weathered stone. On the palate, it is a fresh, pure, and intense red with a silky texture, finely crisp tannins, and a straightforward character with a salty-spicy finish. Subtle yet highly refined. Tasted at the estate in Fully in January 2020.
