"The bouquet is bright, pure, supple, and fresh, displaying notes of crushed and eroded stones. On the palate, it is a fresh, pure, and intense red with a silky texture, finely crisp tannins, and an upright character with a salty and spicy finish. Once again, it is highly refined." About wine:
From the left bank of the Rhône (with limestone soils and fewer hours of sunshine), the Dôle la Liaudisaz 2018 is a blend of around 80% Pinot Noir with 20% Gamay and a tiny amount of Gamaret and Diolinoir. Fermented separately, the blend was aged in enameled vats for a year. The bouquet is bright, pure, supple, and fresh, with notes of crushed and eroded stones. On the palate, it is a fresh, pure, and intense red with a silky texture, finely crisp tannins, and a straightforward character with a salty-spicy finish. Once again, it is highly refined. Tasted at the estate in Fully in January 2020.
