"The wine has a bright citrus color and opens with a super clear, elegant, and complex bouquet of crushed stones and bright, ripe fruit aromas. [...] This is a subtle, clear, and refreshing Chasselas, elegant, textured, and structured with a stimulating, dynamic, and salty finish. The wine has a vibrant freshness, despite undergoing malolactic fermentation and fermenting in two stages, in fall 2018 and spring/summer 2019." (Wine Advocate 2020 - Stephan Reinhardt)

About wine:

The Grain Ermitage Président Troillet 2018 is pure, deep, fresh, and refined, with a concentrated and aromatic nose, initially displaying more oak aromas than I recall from previous vintages, but which disappear with aeration. Rich and generous yet elegant, refreshingly pure and mineral on the palate, this is a full-bodied, complex, juicy and enduringly salty Marsanne with fine tannins and a lingering mineral freshness. Another impressive wine. Tasted at the Fully estate in January 2020.
