"The 2018 Grain Pinot Charrat is fresh, precise, and spicy on the nose, but also a little fleshy and open. On the palate, it is a ripe, lush, and solidly structured Pinot with a fresh, salty finish, woody tannins, and chocolate flavors." (Wine Advocate 2020 - Stephan Reinhardt)

About wine:
The Grain Pinot Charrat 2018 is fresh, precise, and spicy on the nose, but also a little fleshy and open. On the palate, it is a ripe, lush, and solidly structured Pinot with a fresh, salty finish, woody tannins, and chocolate flavors. This is an unfiltered version, but there is also a filtered version, which Marie-Thérèse reports has a less woody taste. I will taste this wine at some point. Tasted at the Fully estate in January 2020.
