Marie-Thérèse Chappaz - Fendant Coteaux de Plamont 2018

Marie-Thérèse Chappaz - Fendant Coteaux de Plamont 2018

90/100

Robert Parker

"The wine has a bright citrus color and opens with a super clear, elegant, and complex bouquet of crushed stones and bright, ripe fruit aromas. [...] This is a subtle, clear, and refreshing Chasselas, elegant, textured, and structured with a stimulating, dynamic, and salty finish. The wine has a vibrant freshness, despite undergoing malolactic fermentation and fermenting in two stages, in fall 2018 and spring/summer 2019." (Wine Advocate 2020 - Stephan Reinhardt)

About wine:

The 2018 Fendant Coteaux de Plamont fermented for 10 months in enamel vats. The wine has a bright citrus color and opens with a super clear, elegant, and complex bouquet of crushed stones and bright, ripe fruit aromas. Bottled at 12.5% alcohol, this is a subtle, clear, and refreshing Chasselas, elegant, textured, and structured with a stimulating, dynamic, and saline finish. The wine has a vibrant freshness, despite undergoing malolactic fermentation and fermenting in two stages, in fall 2018 and spring/summer 2019. Tasted at the estate in Fully in January 2020.
