"Black cherries, fresh plums, sandalwood, peach pits, sage, and cloves on the nose of this deliciously refined and complex red. It is medium-bodied to full-bodied, intense but full of finesse and elegance, with firm and very fine tannins. Long, continuous, and delicious, with a beautiful interplay between fruit and spices. I love this wine. Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Tinta Barocca, and Pinotage. It is already ready to drink, but will be even better after a few years." (James Suckling 2025)

About wine:
Columella 2023 is the usual blend of seven grape varieties. It has a fairly intense bouquet, with a mixture of red and black fruits, cigar box, potpourri, and a slight marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins, a smooth mouthfeel, beautiful balance, and a long, tender finish. This Columella offers wonderful transparency that will provide many years of enjoyment. It rivals the best wines produced by Sadie. 2028-2050
