About the wine:
Treinspoor 2024 is a pure Tinta Barocca that Sadie says he adores, even though he had to give up a large proportion of this vintage's fruit due to drought, around 35%. It blooms on the nose with sensual aromas of red fruits, rooibos, Earl Grey and light mineral notes, beautifully defined and concentrated. The palate is medium-bodied, with a lively attack, impressive density and weight, very pure and perhaps the most sensual of Sadie's OVS for this vintage. Just a hint of cracked black pepper on the finish. Excellent. 2026-2046
