"The estate's oldest Chenin once again offers a memorable tasting experience: a cuvée described as incredible, wonderful, brilliant."
"The Mev. Kirsten 2024 comes from the oldest Chenin vineyard in the Cape, originally planted in 1905, then half of which was uprooted in 1946. Fun fact: it was the first vineyard in South Africa to be plowed by tractor. It has a fragrant bouquet with notes of sea spray, light lanolin, and crushed chalk. The palate is beautifully structured with a wonderful texture, perfectly balanced, laser-sharp precision, and a deft touch of lemongrass on the lingering finish. Brilliant. 2027-2049" (Vinous 2025)
